Bird Free 4-S Gel’s micro-encapsulated formula provides a 2-4 year service life, protected by an oil-based surface film that resists rain, UV exposure, and extreme weather.
When exposed to sunlight, birds appear to perceive the gel as fire or danger, creating a strong visual deterrent. While humans notice a pleasant cinnamon scent, birds detect an intensely foul odor, reinforcing avoidance.
The gel is applied in reusable dishes (included) that can be placed, hung, or secured with magnets or exterior-grade caulking after cleaning the surface.
