De-Fence spikes are made up of five rows of small, blunt plastic spikes that can be placed on top of areas such as your fence, roof, window sills or any other place you wish, adding an extra layer of physical security against domestic animals, wildlife and any other unwanted intruders. Composed entirely of UV protected Polypropylene, De-Fence is durable, long lasting and also highly weather resistant. The product itself is also easily installed using screws, zip-ties or adhesive material. Please note:
The De-fence product is not recommended to be used on large open areas or long edge of rooftop ledges to deter pigeons or any other kinds of birds. The product was designed for temporary use on small window or other ledges that bird spikes can not fit into and for areas that need to keep their aesthetics.
An “S” shaped silicone or caulking is recommended to be applied on the bottom of De-Fence when installing on fences, or other wide areas, to prevent cracking in extreme heat and cold conditions. De-Fence is recommended to be removed and stored in a cool place, once the pest problem has been taken care of.
